Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish model and actress. She was born on November 11, 1966. Her feature film debut was in a minor role on The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte in Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody started modeling after being offered by a professional photographer. It led to an impressive modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was averse to glamour and nude work, a rule that was carried into her acting. Doody was offered a tiny role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill when her name was picked by the casting director. Doody is a member of the James Bond family, having acted along with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody has co-starred alongside Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. When she moved to Hollywood Doody made her famous. It was her choice to succeed Cybill Shepard as L'Oreal spokeswoman and went on to star opposite Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his girlfriend and agent as Flannery's girlfriend and agent in Major League II.
